Make Easter Rabbit Craft Holding Egg

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

Heads up! Some supplies may trigger allergies. Check with a grown-up before using them.

Step 1: Print the rabbit template.

    May need grown-up help
Print the rabbit template on white paper. Using cardstock will make your rabbit stronger!

Step 2: Color your rabbit and carrot.

Use your watercolors, markers, pencils, or crayons to color the rabbit and the carrot top on your template.

Step 3: Cut out the pieces.

Carefully cut out all the parts of your rabbit and carrot from the paper. If the small parts are tricky, ask a grown-up to help you cut them out.

    Step 4: Fill your egg.

If you are using a plastic egg, open it up and fill it with yummy candy or other small treats!

Step 5: Add carrot leaves to the egg.

Put a little glue on the wide end of your orange egg. Then, stick the carrot leaves onto the glue. If you are using craft glue, remember that a tiny dot is enough! If you use a low-temperature glue gun, ask a grown-up for help.

Step 6: Glue the egg to the rabbit.

Put a little glue on the bottom part of your egg. Stick this part to the rabbit's tummy. Make sure the carrot leaves are pointing up! This way, if it's a plastic egg, you can still open it later.

Step 7: Attach the rabbit's paws.

Gently bend the rabbit's arms so they wrap around the egg. Put a little glue on the end of each paw and stick them to the egg. If you have a plastic egg, try to glue the paws on the top or bottom part, not where the egg opens.
