    Make Easy Paper Mushroom Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Print and cut out your mushroom parts.

    May need grown-up help
First, print the mushroom template. You can print the little animals onto thick paper, like cardstock. Print the mushroom parts onto regular paper. Carefully cut out all the mushroom pieces and the little animals. Ask a grown-up for help with cutting if you need it.

Step 2: Glue the spots onto the mushroom cap.

Take the spots for your mushroom cap. Use your glue stick to put glue on the back of the spots. Stick them onto the mushroom cap. If any spots hang over the edge, ask a grown-up to help you trim them with scissors.

Step 3: Make a pocket for the mushroom stem.

Now, let's make a pocket for the mushroom stem. Put glue on the bottom and sides of the mushroom stem piece. Place this piece on top of the main mushroom stem. Press it down firmly so it sticks well. This will be a little pocket for your animal friend!

Step 4: Color your animal friend.

Find the page with the mouse and frog. Choose one little animal, or both! Use your crayons or markers to color your animal friend. Make it bright and happy!

Step 5: Cut out your colored animal.

Carefully cut out the animal you just colored. Ask a grown-up for help with cutting if you need it.

Step 6: Attach the mushroom cap with a brad.

Place the mushroom cap on top of the mushroom stem. Make sure the edges line up. Ask a grown-up to help you use the hole punch to make a hole on one side where the cap and stem meet. Push a metal brad through the hole. Open the brad's legs on the back to hold it in place. Now your mushroom cap can open and close like a door!

Step 7: Hide your animal in its new home.

Open the mushroom cap. Gently put your little animal friend into the pocket you made in the stem. Close the mushroom cap to hide your animal safely inside its new mushroom house!
