Make Easy Popsicle Stick Owl Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

    Step 1: Create the Frame

Line up 5 large popsicle sticks to look like an arrow, with the middle stick being the tallest. Put glue all along another popsicle stick and place it across the 5 sticks in a diagonal line. Do this again with one more popsicle stick. Let the glue dry. You can ask an adult to help you with this step or use glue dots to make it dry faster.

    Step 2: Paint Your Owl

Put newspaper down to keep your table clean. Squeeze out some paint. Pinch the pompom with the clothespin to make a paintbrush. Paint the side of your popsicle stick frame that does not have the diagonal sticks. Let the paint dry completely.

Step 3: Cut Out Owl Parts

    May need grown-up help
Print the owl craft template. Use the template to cut out the owl's eyes, beak, and wings from construction paper. Make sure the small circles for the eyes are white. Ask an adult to help you with cutting if it's tricky.

    Step 4: Add Eye Details

Glue the small white circles into the middle of the bigger circles to make the owl's eyes. Use your markers to draw more details on the wings and around the eyes.

    Step 5: Assemble Your Owl

Once the paint is dry, use your glue stick to attach the eyes, beak, and wings onto your popsicle stick owl.

    Step 6: Decorate Your Owl

Use your markers to add any last details or designs to your owl craft.
