Make Free Printable Owl Coloring Pages

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Get Your Owl Coloring Pages

    May need grown-up help
Print out the owl coloring pages from the website. There are 12 different owl pictures for you to color!

    Step 2: Choose Your Colors

Pick your favorite crayons or markers. You can use many different colors to make your owl unique.

    Step 3: Color Your Owl

Use your crayons or markers to color the owl pictures. You can color inside the lines or outside, it's your creative choice!

    Step 4: Add Textures (Optional)

If you want to make your owl extra special, glue pieces of tissue paper onto parts of your owl. You can also add washi tape for cool patterns. Fluff up cotton balls and glue them on to make clouds or foam around your owl.

Step 5: Color Standing Up (Optional)

Ask an adult to tape your coloring page to a wall. Stand up and color the page. This helps make your body strong!

Step 6: Color Upside Down (Optional)

Ask an adult to tape your coloring page to the bottom of a table. Lie on your back under the table and reach up to color. This also helps make your body strong!

Step 7: Color Without Back Support (Optional)

Sit at a table, but turn your chair sideways so your back is not touching the chair. Sit up straight and color. This helps your tummy muscles get strong!

Step 8: Break Your Crayons (Optional)

Ask an adult to help you break your crayons in half. Holding smaller crayon pieces helps your fingers get stronger for writing.

Step 9: Make Tactile Borders (Optional)

    HOT! Grown-up required
If you want to practice staying inside the lines, ask an adult to draw lines on your coloring page with Elmer's glue or hot glue. Let the glue dry overnight. Then, when you color, you will feel the lines with your crayon. Remember to ask an adult for help with hot glue, as it is very hot!
