    Make Friendly Ghost Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Glue popsicle sticks together.

Place 3 large popsicle sticks next to each other. Make the middle stick a little bit taller than the other two. Put a line of glue down the middle of the fourth popsicle stick. Then, put the stick with glue on it across the other 3 sticks, making an 'X' shape. Let the glue dry. You can make many ghosts if you want! Or, if you want, you can get ready for Step 4 by cutting out shapes for your ghost's face and decorations.

Step 2: Paint your ghost white.

When the glue is dry, put your popsicle sticks on the newspaper. Squeeze a little white paint onto the newspaper. Pinch the pompom with your clothespin. This will be your paintbrush! Paint one side of your ghost white. When it's dry, turn it over and paint the other side. Let the paint dry completely.

Step 3: Wrap yarn around your ghost.

Tape one end of your white yarn to the back of your ghost, near the bottom. Wrap the yarn around and around your ghost. You can wrap a lot or a little! Leave the top and bottom parts of the popsicle sticks uncovered, about half an inch. When you are done wrapping, cut the yarn. Tie it in the back and tuck in any extra pieces.

Step 4: Give your ghost a face and decorations.

Cut an oval shape from black construction paper for your ghost's mouth. You can also cut out other shapes from different colored paper to make your ghost special, like rosy cheeks, a bow tie, or a tiny pumpkin. Give your ghost a unique personality! Glue the mouth and googly eyes onto your ghost. Then, glue on any other decorations you made.
