About This Project

A 5–10 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Oranges, Markers, and Blueberries.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Fruity Lion Snack

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Heads up! Some supplies may trigger allergies. Check with a grown-up before using them.

    Step 1: Draw Whiskers

Use a food-safe marker to draw whiskers on one orange. You can buy food-safe markers at most craft and cake supply stores. If you don't have a food safe marker, you could also cut thin strips of red grapes, plums, or other dark-colored fruit.

    Step 2: Add the mane

Peel your other orange and separate it into segments. Alternate orange segments and banana slices all the way around your whole orange.

    Step 3: Add the nose

Place a raspberry in the center of the face to make your lion's nose

    Step 4: Add eyes

Add two blueberries for his eyes! ROAR! Time to eat your delicious snack.
