    Make Halloween Monster Crafts

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

    Step 1: Make the triangle

    MESSY! Extra cleanup
Place the 3 large popsicle sticks in a triangle shape and secure at each intersection point with a drop of Elmer’s glue or a glue dot. Set the triangle aside to give the glue time to dry while you move on to step 2. *Even better…Do this step the night before and make lots so that you are ready to make all of the Halloween monster crafts you see here!

    Step 2: Ghost Step - 1

Paint your triangle white for a white ghost.

    Step 3: Ghost - Step 2

Draw and cut out a triangle, just a little smaller than the outside of your triangle frame, from the white construction paper. Then from the black construction paper, draw and cut out an oval about the size of the pad of your thumb. This will be his mouth. Optional: Cut 2 small circles from the red scrap of paper to give your ghost rosy cheeks. *For this ghost craft, there is no template since there are only a couple of pieces to be cut out. However, if you would like a template for the triangle, just use one from one of the other monster crafts.

    Step 4: Ghost - Step 3

Glue it together with your glue stick. Use a marker to add eye brows or other fun details.

    Step 5: Vampire

    May need grown-up help
To make the vampire, follow the same steps to assemble and paint your triangle. The vampire should be painted gray. Use the attached template to print and cut his eyes, fangs, clothes and hair. Then, glue it all together!

    Step 6: Jack-O-Lantern

    May need grown-up help
Follow the same steps for the Jack-O-Lantern, but paint your popsicle sticks orange. Use the template for the face, or draw your own. Use an orange marker to add pumpkin details

    Step 7: Witch

    May need grown-up help
Follow the same steps to build a triangle for the witch, but paint it green. You'll assemble your witch with a point facing down for her chin. Use the template for her nose and hat, and googly eyes for her face. You can use yarn or paper scraps for her scraggly hair. Use a marker to add some details to her hat and nose, and a black marker for her eyebrows and mouth.

    Step 8: Frankenstein

    May need grown-up help
Follow the same steps for making Frankenstein. Put his neck bolts on either side, and use a marker to give him a silly smile. Paper or yarn can be used for his stitching.

    Step 9: Werewolf

    May need grown-up help
Follow the first instructions for assembling your triangle and paint it brown. You can refer to the picture above for this step. But, please, make it your own, your friendly werewolf should be totally your own! First, glue your brown paper triangle onto the back of the triangle frame using your glue stick. Next, glue on the ears, nose and tuft of hair on the top of his head. Optional: Give him some rosy cheeks Use the markers to add some details.
