About This Project

A 10–60 minutes craft for ages 3–12, using supplies you likely already have — Staplers, Scissors, and Paper.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Paper Chains

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

Step 1: Cut your paper strips

Pick your favorite colors and cut lots of strips of paper. Each strip should be about as wide as your thumb and about 8.5 inches long, which is the length of the short side of standard paper.

    Step 2: Make your chain

Take one strip and make a circle. Staple or glue the ends together. If glueing, count to 5 while holding it so the glue sticks well. Thread a new strip through your circle. Staple or glue it in place. Repeat until the chain is as long as you'd like. Fun Tips: • Make patterns with your colors • Use your chain to count down to special days • Decorate your room or make a party extra colorful!
