    Make Paper Turkey Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Color stripes on white paper.

Take two pieces of white construction paper. Use your crayons or markers to color stripes on them. You can make the stripes any color, width, or direction you like! Be creative and make them your own.

Step 2: Fold colored paper into accordion fans.

Fold each of your colored papers like an accordion. Make sure each fold is about the same size. Then, take one folded paper and fold it in half lengthwise. Use your glue stick to glue the two sides together, making a fan shape. Do the same thing with your other colored paper.

Step 3: Print and cut out turkey parts from the template.

    May need grown-up help
Print out the turkey craft template and cut out all the parts for your turkey. Remember to cut out two wings, two beaks, and two waddles to make your turkey look 3D!

Step 4: Glue turkey body parts and googly eyes.

Now, use your glue stick to put the turkey's body parts together. First, glue the parts onto one side of your turkey. Then, flip it over and glue the matching parts onto the other side. Don't forget to stick on the two googly eyes!

Step 5: Attach the turkey feathers.

It's time to put your whole turkey together! Take the turkey body you just made and place it between the two colorful paper fans. Use your glue stick to hold all the pieces together. Gently pull the turkey's wings away from the fan feathers to make them stand out.
