About This Project

A 10–20 minutes craft for ages 3–7, using supplies you likely already have — Scissors, White Glue, and Cotton Balls.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

Make Pop Up Paper Plate Rainbow Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Cut the paper plate

    May need grown-up help
Fold the paper plate in half. Ask an adult to help you cut a semi-circle out of the middle of the paper plate to make an arch.

    Step 2: Color the rainbow

Use the rainbow crayon to color the arch you cut out.

    Step 3: Paint the sky

Paint the bottom part of the paper plate blue to make the sky. Then, glue cotton balls onto the blue paint to make clouds. Let the paint and glue dry.

    Step 4: Display your rainbow

Fold the rainbow arch so it pops up. Put it somewhere so everyone can see it!
