    Make Rain Cloud Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Cut out your cloud shape.

    May need grown-up help
Ask a grown-up to help you print the cloud template to draw a cloud shape on your paper plate. Then, carefully cut out the cloud shape from the paper plate.

Step 2: Cut yarn strings and tie knots.

Cut five pieces of white yarn. Each piece should be about 12 inches long. Then, tie a knot at one end of each yarn piece.

Step 3: Attach yarn to the cloud.

Take each piece of yarn and staple it to the bottom of your cloud shape. Make sure the knot you tied is on the outside, so the yarn stays in place.

Step 4: Add colorful beads to the yarn.

Now, string the blue pony beads onto each piece of yarn. You can put a small piece of tape around the end of the yarn to make it easier to push the beads through. Make sure to put beads on different strings so they hang at different lengths, like raindrops! After each bead, you can tie a tiny knot or add a tiny dot of glue to keep it from sliding down.

Step 5: Make your cloud fluffy with cotton balls.

Squeeze some Elmer's glue all over the front of your cloud shape. Then, pull apart the cotton balls to make them fluffy and stick them onto the glue. Cover your whole cloud to make it look soft and puffy!

Step 6: Add a hanger to your cloud.

Cut a pipe cleaner in half. Bend the pipe cleaner piece into a loop shape. Once the glue on your cloud is dry, tape the pipe cleaner loop to the back of your cloud. Now you have a hanger to display your rainy cloud!
