    Make Thanksgiving Coloring Pages

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

Step 1: Get your coloring pages

Ask an adult to help you download and print the Thanksgiving coloring pages. You will get 9 different pictures to color!

Step 2: Choose your coloring tools

Gather your crayons or markers. If you want to make your pictures extra special, also get tissue paper, washi tape, cotton balls, and glue.

    Step 3: Color your pictures

Use your crayons or markers to color the Thanksgiving pictures. You can color them any way you like! Be creative and use all your favorite colors.

Step 4: Add fun textures (optional)

If you want to make your pictures extra special, glue small pieces of tissue paper onto parts of your picture for texture. You can also add strips of washi tape for cool patterns or glue fluffy cotton balls to make things like clouds or fuzzy animals. Ask an adult to help you with glue if you need it.

Step 5: Try coloring in new ways (optional)

You can color in fun new ways to help your body get stronger! Ask an adult to tape your coloring page to a wall and color standing up. Or, ask an adult to tape your coloring page under a table, then lie on your back and reach up to color. You can also sit on a chair without leaning your back, to help your tummy muscles get strong while you color.

Step 6: Break your crayons (optional)

Ask an adult to help you break your crayons into smaller pieces. Holding smaller crayons helps your fingers get stronger for writing later.

Step 7: Use glue to make bumpy lines (optional)

If you want to practice staying inside the lines, ask an adult to draw lines on your coloring page with Elmer's glue or hot glue. Let the glue dry completely (Elmer's glue needs to dry overnight). When you color, you will feel the bumpy line, which helps you stay inside! Remember, hot glue is very hot, so an adult must do this part.
