    Make Thanksgiving Gratitude Chain

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

    Step 1: Cut paper strips.

Take your colorful paper. Use your scissors to cut long, thin strips. Make them about as wide as your finger. It's okay if they are not perfect! If you need help with scissors, ask a grown-up.

Step 2: Write what you are thankful for.

Give the paper strips and markers to your family and friends. Ask everyone to write one thing they are thankful for on each strip. They can write on as many strips as they want!

Step 3: Make a gratitude chain.

Gather all the paper strips. Take one strip and make it into a circle. Staple the ends together to make a loop. Then, take another strip, put it through the first loop, and staple its ends together to make another loop. Keep doing this until all your strips are connected! Ask a grown-up for help with the stapler. You can put your chain on the table or hang it up to make your room pretty. When everyone sits down, you can share what you wrote on your chain!
