    Make Thanksgiving Placemat Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

Step 1: Print your Thanksgiving placemat

    May need grown-up help
Ask an adult to help you download and print the free Thanksgiving placemat. It's best to print on both sides of the paper. If you have cardstock, print on that because it is stronger. Make sure to print enough placemats for everyone who will be at your Thanksgiving dinner.

    Step 2: Color your placemat

Use your crayons or markers to color the front of your placemat. You can draw your favorite Thanksgiving foods on the plate. Then, turn your placemat over and play the games with your family.

Step 3: Add pretend food (optional)

SHARP! Grown-up required May need grown-up help
If you want to make your placemat extra special, use craft supplies to create pretend food on your plate. For example, you can use a hole punch on green paper for peas, or yellow paper for corn. Cut thin strips of green paper for green beans. Fluff up cotton balls for mashed potatoes and add a small yellow paper square for butter. Squish a brown paper bag and add a popsicle stick for a turkey drumstick. Use green pompoms for brussel sprouts or peas, and white pompoms for pearl onions. Yellow, green, or orange beads can be corn, peas, or carrots. Mix them for mixed veggies! Use brown tissue paper for gravy. You can also cut construction paper into any food shape you like.
