About This Project

A 45–60 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Apples, Oranges, and Pretzel Rods.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

Make The Very Hungry Caterpillar Fruit Pizza Cookies

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Heads up! Some supplies may trigger allergies. Check with a grown-up before using them.

Step 1: Roll and Cut the Cookies

Roll out the cookie dough. Use the cookie cutter to make 6 circle cookies for each caterpillar. Ask an adult to help you bake the cookies. Let the cookies cool down.

    Step 2: Chop the Fruit

Cut the fruit into small pieces. Ask an adult to help you use a knife.

Step 3: Taste Test the Fruit

Before you make the cookies, taste each fruit. Hold the fruit, squeeze it, smell it, and then taste it. Talk about what you like about each fruit.

Step 4: Make the Caterpillar's Face

Put red frosting on one cookie. Break a pretzel stick in half. Put the pretzel pieces on top of the cookie to make the caterpillar's antennas. Use green frosting to make the face.

    Step 5: Decorate the Pizzas

Put green frosting on the other cookies. Add the fruit on top of the frosting.
