Make You Make Everything S'more Fun 3D Handprint Art

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

    Step 1: Trace your hands

Trace your hands on red and orange paper. We made two red handprints and one orange handprint. Then, cut them out.

Step 2: Glue down your flames

Glue your orange and red handprints onto your blue paper. We used white glue, but glue stick would work just as well and make less mess.

    Step 3: Make yellow handprints

    May need grown-up help
Use a paint brush or painting sponge, cover your hand in yellow paint.

    Step 4: Make Yellow Handprints

    May need grown-up help
We made three yellow handprints on our fire to make it look like the flames were dancing. Experiment and make it your own! You could try red and orange paint, too! For best results, let your project dry after this step.

Step 5: Cut out your logs

Use a scissors to cut one toilet paper tube in half lengthwise to make two logs.

Step 6: Glue on your logs

Carefully line the bottom edge of your logs with glue and then glue them to your project. We used white glue, and had to hold it in place for a long time before th glue was set. For faster project completion, ask an adult to use a hot glue gun.

Step 7: Glue on the marshmallow stick

Cut your stick to be about six inches long, then glue it to the cotton ball. Glue the marshmallow stick to your project over the flames. We used white glue, but hot glue would dry much faster if you have an adult available to help you.

    Step 8: Write your message

Once everything is dry, use a marker to write the message, "You Make Everything S'more Fun!" on the logs or in the background of your art.
