Tagging Projects
Tagging projects properly makes it easier for users to find the projects that interest them, meet their learning goals, and match their needs. They also help boost the SEO of GlueStick projects, making our entire content library more discoverable online.
Tags are visible to all users, including those who aren’t logged in, on all projects. All tags submitted must follow our Content Guidelines for appropriate language.
All projects should be tagged in the following way:
Map location (see below)
Skills developed, if any
Holidays, seasons, or learning themes, if applicable
Is this project good for Indoor fun, Outdoor fun, or both?
Is this project better for solo play, group play, or adaptable to both?
Projects that cost under $5 for all supplies can be tagged as Budget Friendly
Projects that take less than 5 minutes of set up can be tagged as Easy Set Up
Projects that heavily utilize recycled or reused materials can be tagged with Recycled Materials
Tags are NOT case sensitive. “Beach” and “beach” are treated equivalently. However, plurals may be separate. In general, submit the singular form of a tag unless it is an irregular plural. For example, tag “Dog,” not “Dogs.” But you may want to tag both “Werewolf” and “Werewolves” to aid in searching.
Every location on the GlueStick map uses tags to show the appropriate content. Tag every project with the location(s) you want it to be discoverable within. Most projects are a good fit for 1-3 locations.
