How to complete a GlueStick project

GlueStick projects follow four steps on one page: Find Supplies → Get Creative → Clean up → Celebrate. This guide walks through a full project from picking something to make through celebrating your masterpiece.

Find a project

1. Browse the Library at the home page, or open Browse all.
2. Open a project card to see the overview (time, age, and what you will make).
3. When you are ready, tap Start Project (signed in) or Let’s make it! if GlueStick asks you to start a playthrough.

Before you start

• A free GlueStick account unlocks the full Celebrate path (stars, Art Gallery, Dress-up). Guests can try one project end-to-end, then see What’s next? without stars until they create an account.
• Use Who is making today? so the right profile gets credit, favorites, and stars.
• Optional: tap the heart on a project to save it to that profile’s favorites.

Complete the four steps

1. Find Supplies

Check off each supply as you gather it. Use the hunt timer if you like a little race (Ready… Set… GO).

When supplies are ready, tap Let’s make together → to move to Get Creative.

• Signed-in households can open Manage Supply Cupboard to track what you already have at home.

2. Get Creative

Follow the numbered steps (Step 1, Step 2, …). Buddy encouragement stays nearby — take it one step at a time.

• If Messy Mode is available for the project, use it when you want the full step list unlocked for a freer make session.

3. Clean up

Put things away so the space is tidy for next time:

• Tidy up our space — check off cleanup tasks.
• Put away our supplies — check supplies back; you may unlock a new creative buddy.
• Update what we have left — jump to Manage Supply Cupboard when you want to adjust stock.
• Checking a few cleanup boxes can quietly mark the playthrough complete in the background when you are signed in.

4. Celebrate

This is where you capture the win.

• Kids: Tap I’ve got a grown-up when a caregiver is ready (or Not right now for a lighter check-in). GlueStick waits a short moment after cleanup so celebrating feels earned.
• Grown-ups: Optionally add a photo (Keep this forever), choose how many stars the maker earned (1–3★; password for bonus stars), answer the quick “how fun / how good were the instructions?” faces, then Save to the Art Gallery! or Skip the extras.

After Celebrate you can Dress up my buddy!, See my Art Gallery, or Make something new.

Stars

• Completing through Celebrate usually awards +1 star automatically for that playthrough.
• Caregivers can award up to 3★ total (password required for 2–3★).

Stars are spent in Creative Buddy dress-up on the profile. See Dressing up your Creative Buddy.

• Guests do not earn stars until they finish Celebrate while signed in.

Make again

Already finished a project? Use Make again on the project page to start a fresh playthrough from Find Supplies.

Tips

• Stay on one device when possible so your playthrough (?sp= in the URL) stays with you.
• Switch profiles before you Celebrate if a different kid did the making.
